Social Media Is Like Lifting Weights – It Doesn’t  Really Work!

In 2006 I was sick and tired of being sick and tired of being out of shape.  I remember the mindset to this day.  I instantly became determined to get into better health.  I grabbed the Vancouver Sun and on page 4 there was an ad that said ’16 Week Challenge’ it listed all the benefits of the program.  The ad talk about nutrition, flexibility, cardio, endurance, strength, sleep. I was sold once I knew it was more than just hitting the gym and lifting weights.

How many people hit the gym and lift weights regularly?  These people never seem to transform, evolve or get fitter…social-media copy

12 weeks after starting the program I had gone from 30% body fat down to 15% and had gained 10lbs of muscle.  What a feeling!

Over the next 6 years the weight crept back on and I knew in the back of my head I was only 12 weeks away from feeling amazing again.

Finally the same mindset that hit me on Oct 3rd 2006 hit me again Feb 1 2012 (sick and tired of being sick and tired) except this time I stayed consistent and 4.5 years later I’m still on track.

The same is true about Social Media and Internet Marketing for your business.

Social Media to me is like hitting the gym and only doing weights, Internet Marketing gets you results and requires more than pumping iron.
